Church Music

The tradition of music at St Saviour's has been maintained over many years. Regular services are accompanied by music and the church acts as host for a number of choral concerts and organ recitals throughout the year.

The church pipe organ was damaged beyond repair after theft of lead from the roof allowed water into the building, but has now been replaced by a Makin organ with a full speaker system, giving a quality of sound that is both impressive and enjoyable.

Our church organist, Jane Cranna, is proud to play this wonderful instrument and says: "Music adds a special quality to our lives that is
hard to find elsewhere. The pleasure of playing at St Saviour's church is something that I enjoy every single time."
